Turnkey is the whole point of Bardi Designs. We plan and oversee the design build, select and source every furnishing, then install it, so you are making decisions rather than chasing trades and delivery dates.

What the service covers

A turnkey engagement means you hand over a space and get back a finished room. We take responsibility for the parts of a project that normally fall between the architect, the builder and the homeowner, and we stay involved until the last piece is placed.

That begins with understanding how you actually live. We listen first, then curate around your habits and your personality rather than imposing a house style. Sourcing runs through exclusive trade-only lines you will not find in a retail showroom, and where the right piece does not exist, we design it.

Because our own warehouse team handles receiving, inspection and installation, furnishings arrive when the room is ready for them. You are not storing boxes in a garage or coordinating five delivery windows.

Listening first

We start by understanding how you use the space day to day, then design around that rather than around a house style.

Full-scheme sourcing

Furniture, lighting, rugs, textiles, art and accessories all specified together so the room resolves as one idea.

Project management

Orders tracked, lead times managed, trades coordinated. You approve decisions instead of chasing them.

One coordinated install

Everything arrives at our warehouse first, then goes in together, so you get a finished room rather than a slow assembly.

What does a turnkey interior design service actually include?

It means we take the project from the first conversation to the day you walk back into a finished room. That covers design development, conceptual drawings and renderings, planning and overseeing the design build, sourcing and ordering, custom furniture and accessory design, then delivery and installation by our own warehouse team. You are not left to coordinate trades or chase deliveries.

How do we get started?

Complete our questionnaire so we understand your goals and your vision, then schedule a complimentary appointment. That first consultation runs 45 minutes to an hour, either in our office or in your space, and it is where we get properly acquainted before any agreement is signed.

How long does a project take?

It depends on scope, but the ordering phase is the part most people underestimate. Furnishings and materials typically carry a lead time of nine to twelve weeks once selections are approved. We build that into the schedule from the start so the install date is realistic rather than optimistic.

What kinds of projects do you take on?

Renovation and new construction for residential homes, plus boutique hospitality and commercial work. We regularly partner with architects and builders from early in a build, which is where thoughtful interior decisions have the most influence.

Can you design furniture that does not exist yet?

Yes. Alongside exclusive trade-only lines, we design and commission custom furniture and accessories when a room needs a piece that cannot be bought. It is one of the reasons our interiors feel specific to the people who live in them.

Do you work outside Raleigh?

Raleigh and the surrounding Triangle are home, and that is where most of our work sits. We do travel for the right project, and our portfolio includes work further afield, so it is worth asking.
